Education

"I am currently attending Concordia University, completing a specialization in jazz studies with a focus on jazz saxophone. My progress on the instrument and my involvement with the Montreal music scene has flourished with the freedom provided to me by studying at Concordia."

"My years spent at Vanier College were incredibly challenging, completing a double DEC in both music and science really stretched what I thought I was capable of. This is where I got my first formal training in music theory and small combo jazz experience."

"My time at Beaconsfield High School was what set me on the path of pursuing music. My involvement with the music departments many ensembles, big bands and concert bands, is what kindled my desire to play the saxophone."

Industry Skills

"The alto saxophone is my primary instrument although I also play soprano, tenor and baritone saxophone. I adore the expressive power of the instrument and the freedom I have on the instrument after years of practice. I have studied with Frank Lozano and Billy Bouffard privately over my years at Vanier and Concordia respectively."

Saxophone (9+ Years)

"The flute is my secondary instrument, I took it up during my time at Vanier College studying with Heather Hows. I enjoy the incredibly different timbre it provides and I especially enjoy using it in more latin influenced music."

Flute (4+ Years)

"Piano was my first instrument and it serves as the foundation for most of my composition and arranging. While I do not have classical training on the piano I am proficient on the instrument from years of trial and error."
