Paymon Vegh is an artist, saxophonist, and composer based out of Montreal Canada. With a background in funk, and jazz, his improvisational style on the saxophone is a mix of aggression and joy. An enthusiastic artist eager to display his proficiency on his instrument and with the art form.
"I am currently attending Concordia University, completing a specialization in jazz studies with a focus on jazz saxophone. My progress on the instrument and my involvement with the Montreal music scene has flourished with the freedom provided to me by studying at Concordia."

"The alto saxophone is my primary instrument although I also play soprano, tenor and baritone saxophone. I adore the expressive power of the instrument and the freedom I have on the instrument after years of practice. I have studied with Frank Lozano and Billy Bouffard privately over my years at Vanier and Concordia respectively."
"The flute is my secondary instrument, I took it up during my time at Vanier College studying with Heather Hows. I enjoy the incredibly different timbre it provides and I especially enjoy using it in more latin influenced music."
